Unfortunately the overall service on this cruise was poor. The bartenders on both pool deck bars seemed to always be in a bad mood and overworked. If you asked them anything that was not a drink order it was greeted with an eye roll and sigh. Dinners in both main dining rooms, Aqua and Venetian, took extremely long. Other parties of similar size would come in after us and leave before us. While at dinner there were appetizers and/or entrees that were never brought, I had to order coffee 3 times before actually receiving it, we had to flag a random employee down each time we needed more water, and when I would order a drink they would bring 2 of what the person next to me ordered rather than what I ordered. Regretfully, this was not a onetime occurrence, it happened any time we ate in the main dining rooms (breakfast or dinner) except for the very last night. At the Irish Pub, we were seated and waited 20 minutes before anyone approached us. We ordered 1 drink and never saw our server again. We flagged down the hostess and said we wanted to order another round and were told “your server is on their way and will be right there”. He never spoke with our server and the server never came back. After waiting another 20 minutes we just decided to leave. There were also too many smoking areas in my opinion. The chairs on the pool deck with the best views were right next to The Bimini Bar and Grill where everyone was smoking, despite the “No Smoking” signs posted on each table and the bar itself. This was my first cruise, I had heard that Norwegian Cruise Lines were superior to Carnival and Royal Caribbean, so I was truly looking forward to it. The attitude of the staff and the lack of any customer care/service really ruined the experience for me.

Cabin Review

Balcony

The cabin had an enclosed balcony, it was nice to be able to see out and really enjoy the view.
