Being the first time on Norwegian we weren’t sure what to expect but we were quite underwhelmed overall.
The ship was clean and easy to get around but there was no grandeur when you first step into the atrium as we had with any and all of the seven Carnival ships we’ve cruised on.
We ate in the both of the main dining rooms (same menu in both - disappointing as you had to dress a little more formal for summer palace) and we kept waiting for some real seafood which didn’t happen until the third or fourth night and then it was coconut fried shrimp... no Lobster EVER. On a 7+ day cruise Carnival still serves lobster! The Asian fusion restaurant did have a garlic lemon shrimp that was amazing this was our go to restaurant the remainder of the cruise although the menu is the exact same every night.
Small but fine room steward was great and attentive- I mentioned ice the first day and it was filled two times a day every day there after. Shower was great sized.
