We chose this cruise for a few different reasons, we were a large group of 16 Mother's and Daughter's who were celebrating milestone birthday's. We wanted a beverage package, reasonable cost, and non negotiable sale date. There were previous Norwegian cruisers so it was recommended. Also because at that that time there were specials being offered that worked well for us. Overall it was a great experience but some things that could have made it better was better service in the restaurants and bars. The service was way too slow. Also the pool is too small and not appropriate for wading in a shallow end, you had to float the entire time which is not comfortable or fun. Lastly, we heard afterwards that there is a package that could have been purchased where we could have communicated with each other while on the ship. This is not well advertised so we were not aware of such a package. We did have some communication issues being such a large group and rooms being spread out. However would I do it again and the answer is a definite yes. The food was excellent, the entertainment options are good and the gathering areas are also very good. Till the next time!

Cabin Review

Spa Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B9

Not worth the extra expense. We did not get to take full advantage of the Spa facilities because not all of us got the upgrade and the room itself is no different than the other Balcony's with regards to room size and balcony size.

Port Reviews

Miami

Did not do an excursion but the port itself was fine.

Harvest Caye

Really enjoyed the pool and beach area, lots of chairs. However I think those with beverage package should not have to pay for drinks while on Norwegian's private Island. The alcohol was way too pricey.

Costa Maya

Enjoyed walking around the market, saw a couple of short shows. Word of caution there are large varying prices in the shops so need to make sure you know the prices and negotiate accordingly.
