I bought this cruise as a gift for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday. I thought it would be a perfect little getaway plus the open bar included sealed the deal. We arrived at the boat around noon and the embarkation was a breeze. The next day we were SUPPOSED to be at their private island which was what we were most excited about. We woke up the next morning to the captain saying it was too choppy to go to the private island so we will stay at sea which was a hugeeeee bummer. We understood it was for our safety but they didn’t do much to make up for it on the ship. I’m sorry but if I’m not going to be living it up on a private island with drinks and djs, I want to do more than watch someone carve fruit on a pool deck with no music. We even went up to a staff member to ask them what activities were going on because we were just aimlessly walking around the ship and she even apologized for the lack of activities for a younger crowd. Needless to say, Saturday felt like a waste of a day and we were very disappointed. Luckily, we were finally able to get off the boat to go to Nassau the next day. For the most part the food on the boat was really good and they were very accommodating. If the boys wanted two- three entrees, they were more than welcome to serve. Raymond was our server Sunday and we was amazing!! You can tell he really loves his job and truly cares. The comedian on board was hilarious! The disembarking did not go smoothly on the other hand. The line was forever long and when we finally got to the front they made my boyfriend go to a different line for finances. That line was even longer because only one staff member was dealing with ALL of the people getting redirected there. Honestly I’m not sure if I’ll ever cruise with this line again but I do know I think I’d have a different perception if Saturday went the way it was supposed to.
