We have taken this cruise out of Galveston 4 other times during the last 6 years, but will never take it again. 1) furnishings everywhere are worn, stained, ragged, and in need of attention. We didn't see all those crew members polishing and cleaning like they used to. 2) the floor and tables in the Windjammer (buffet style) were filthy. The tile portion of the floor was slick with dirty water that had been left behind from mops rinsed in dirty water. We saw servers reusing the same dirty cloths to wipe off multiple tables, leaving streaks and dirt behind. I tried not to touch the table when I was eating. 3) apparently children cruise for free with parents and the children were running and screaming everywhere. People even had their kids sitting AT THE BARS, or rolling around the floor in the bar areas. I thought bars were for adults. Our past favorite bar, Baleros, was the worst. 4) We don't know where all the smiling, joking servers and bartenders disappeared to, because there were very few who even smiled on this cruise. I could go on, but let me just summarize the the "special feeling we used to get when we boarded this ship was gone. We will be cruising other ships and probably other cruise lines from now on.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Balcony

Not impressed with the well worn furnishings. Even the white duvet cover on the bed was pilled and dirty looking.
