One of the bigger ships but it never felt too big. Great staff and food! We were in a 1-bedroom grand suite which was amazing. Large room with plenty of space. Huge balcony. Well worth the money. Also gives you access to private deck chairs and a suite lounge with drinks and snacks. Overall a fantastic week - zero we could complain about. Embarkation was quick and easy...and the rooms were ready at the exact time they were promised. Always a nice touch. We ate in the main dining room every night - kids aren't foodies. The menu was diverse and the food was quite good. Never felt we were looking at the same choices each night. The buffet gets crowded but for a quick bite it was fine. Food choices were endless and well done. Excursions were a blast. We did a resort day in Jamaica that was incredibly relaxing. Jewel Runaway Bay - Highly recommend it although I wouldn't buy from the ship because the pricing was bonkers. We also did the stingray and reef experience in Grand Cayman - Don't miss it. The stingrays are everywhere and they're not shy. In Cozumel we went on the starfish sanctuary snorkel. This one required some swimming. It was a great excursion but you will put some work into it. Last but not least in Costa Maya we went to the water park. Kids loved it. Great park and perfect way to end the trip - we had done ruins and hikes on our last cruise so relaxation was the word of the day everyday on this trip.

Cabin Review

Grand Suite - 1 Bedroom
Cabin GS 1274
Amazing space. Room is very large and very comfortable. Our family of four loved it. Large curtain divides the bed from the pullout sleeper which made the space feel even larger at night - you had privacy. Bathroom was large and well appointed - tub was used a lot. Balcony was large as well. Room was very quiet which is always nice.

  • Costa Maya
I can't remember the name of the park but it's the only one there. Insane slides - kids loved them I stayed planted on the ground. Very well run park with lockers for rent, deck chairs available and a helpful staff. They take pictures while you're on the slides and the lazy river - like a disney photo pass. Pics were great and the cost wasn't too bonkers. If you're looking for an easy day for the kids this is it.

Snorkeling was amazing but you do some swimming. A guide leads you around and it felt like we covered a half mile in the water. Anyone can do it but know that you will be swimming not just floating. Starfish experience was a little underwhelming - they're all the same species and they don't exactly move around. Overall a great trip. Water and coral are breathtaking.

First time using resort for a day and it won't be the last. We wanted a day on the beach and this excursion was offered through RC but for a price that was off the charts - they included golf. We found Resort for a Day and the cost was half that. The resort is beautiful! Beach is clean and the water is straight from a brochure about Jamaica. Crystal clear. Good food and drinks - all inclusive. Water park wasn't crowded and it was a nice break from the sand! Great way to spend a day!

Huge port but well run. Staff had us checked in, car parked, luggage taken care of and on board in minutes. Great way to start a vacation.

Don't miss the stingrays! They're amazing. Tour was fantastic. Helpful staff. Short boat ride to the sandbar. Stingrays were everywhere and not shy around people. Photographer is provided and they email you the photos which seemed iffy but the photos were all there in a day. Great pictures and great memories for sure!
