once you take a few days to learn the ship and where everything is, it is a great time. there is a lot of walking on such a big ship but it was wonderful. it was so modern and updated. the ship had a whole different style and look than the other ships I've been on. embarkation and disembarkation were a breeze, cape liberty is so easy to navigate. the dining was okay, most of the same things every few nights but the wait staff was fabulous!! all the service was awesome. booking again on anthem for this coming year!!! 8 nights wasn't enough. the entertainment was pretty good, we will rock you was really good but "the gift" was probably a 2/10.. hard to follow and essentially a waste of time. but the comedy shows and all other entertainment was great. we were on the ship for NYE and that was a great time. will definitely try some of the specialty restaurants on the next cruise to try and switch up the same few meals in the main dining room. overall, an awesome cruise and a great ship!

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

bus trip to WDW was great, nice to relax before and after the long day on the bus to/from the ship. very easy to get to the excursion once off the ship in port.

Nassau

very expensive for what it was but was a great time. didn't have a ton of time on the blue lagoon island but we were mainly there for the dolphins so not a huge deal.
