Sail Date: Apr 2019
Cabin: Aqua Class

This was our second cruise on the Summit, first post-Revolution obviously. We went Aqua Class for the first time.

Embarkation was easy and prompt, no waiting. We also appreciated being able to drop our bags in the room even though it wasn't completely ready yet.

After boarding, however, our luggage took 4 hours to find us. The luggage tags provided indicated our correct cabin number but the wrong deck number. We had to call to get them delivered.

Aqua Class

Cabin A2

We were in one of the new Aqua Class cabins on Deck 10. This is very convenient for proximity to the spa, pool and Oceanside Café. However, there is a strong odor of chlorine in the corridor; fortunately it does not permeate the staterooms. Pleased to report there is also little noise from the lounge on the deck above.

However, if you do not enjoy cold showers, do NOT book in this corridor. We were warned on embarkation that getting hot water was slow. That was an understatement. Ten minutes or longer running the water to get warm/hot water.
