We chose this cruise to get a chance to sail on the newest addition to the Oasis Class ships, having previously sailed on the Oasis and Allure. We did this cruise not for the dull Western Caribbean itinerary, but for the ship and dining experiences. You can just go to Roatan/Costa May/Cozumel/Nassau so many time before you don't even want to leave the ship. Fortunately, the Symphony offers a lot of onboard experiences during port days.

We also wanted to try some of the newer restaurants onboard, since we are kind of "worn out" with Chops. We did Izumi Hibachi, Hooked, 150 Central Park, Wonderland and Jamies. They were all very, very good and certainly deserve a try. Wonderland provides an evening of fascination where nothing is as it seems. It is a fun experience.

As usual, the entertainment on the bigger ships is beyond spectacular. Hairspray was wonderful, even though we had seen it a couple of other times on RCCL.

Cabin Review

Central Park View Balcony

Cabin 2J

The cabin was great. We always book Central Park because of the noise level. If you sail RCCL a lot, ocean view balconies can get pretty boring, when you aren't in port. Central Park has a lot of "people watching" opportunities without the noise of Boardwalk.
