The cabin was a really great space comfortable and much more spacious than looked like in the promotional videos.

The ships excursions were short and rushed if you paid as I did for the pre cruise package of 3.
The aix en Provence trio truly lovely but 35 mins free time to enjoy it ridiculous.
The guide was truly appalling nice guy Ben but truly dull the company shouldn't use him again.
Genoa a similar experience the guide would reach her destination and start chatting before the group could coalesce around her. She managed to lose 15 or so of the group with poor instructions and guidance.
Best part of excursions was going it alone with transfer only in Messina. Independence in Naples in fairness great trips available in Naples only we had done them before.
Malta excursion we had 35 minutes in medina and more time on route in a glass factory. Which told us would demonstrate glass blowing but one bloke one piece of glass no commentary and a massive shop. So a waste of valuable time which means less needed time in the main attraction medina. My advice forget any of msc&rsquo;s Trips there poorly put together. The guides we did have were the worst I&rsquo;ve ever had with exception of the Malta guide.

We had 40 minutes with the guide and 25 minutes free time it's a lovely place but far to  rushed literally a whistle stop tour as part of a package of 3 tours.
What wasn't explained was they were all 1/2 day short tours of 4 hrs ish. Best spend more money on longer trips and forget buying the package of 3. The guide wasn't very good although a nice enough guy. He was quite boring and hard to understand.

Only used the port transfer service and it was great.

Naples

We used the ships transfer and it was really easy and we enjoyed being able to go at our own pace. Lovely place

Taormina (Messina)

The tour was sold as a 3 village tour with the highlight being the visit to the walled ancient city of medina.
Actually we spent as much time in a glass shop billed as place to watch glass blowing prior. It was  1 man who made a glass heart in front of us nothing intricate. No speech no explanation nothing we just filled past him. Felt like a total waste of time and left us with a 10 minute walk through medina with the guide and 25 minutes free just enough time to go the loo and grab a ice cream.

I bought a full drinks package, weekly spa package, full WiFi package, 3 restaurants speciality meals and circus solei show with dinner and show with cocktail all before the cruise.All in all a fanstastic ship with every amenity but to busy to full on not relaxing enough and hard sell really off putting.
