We chose this cruise because of the Asian itinerary. Was on a Japan tour in 2017 on the Millennium and disliked the food and the weary shoddiness of the ship.. Happy to say everything is improved.
The food is so much improved in the main dining room. Only quirk was that a special Captians dinner had all the favorite foods on one night--Lobster, Rack of Lamb, and Beef Wellington.
How strange that the Oceanview buffet was not as good as before. The new "pods" took away from the amount of seating and it was very annoying not to find seats for breakfast. Specific stations were incomplete. Only the front fruit station had pineapple???. Only the front "bakery" had breads. The only negative I found with the "refurbishement"
Beautiful, clean lines and colors. The closet area was good (one less shelve in the short one would fit my husbands jackets better). Especially like the glass door shelving with eye level safe. The drawer space in the vanity/desk and bedside were great as was the lit vanity mirror at the desk. Strange hanging lamp on one side instead of bedside lamp with electric plug. LOVED the glass enclosed shower...lighting was so much better. The sink and toilet were much improved. Missed the clothing hook in room.
