Believe in second chances so we thought, why not . We are so wrong. Right from the start, we ran into issues with the hotel in Boston. Shutter bus took an hour to pick us up at the airport. Then, the next day, the driver dropped us off way outside the cruise terminal and we had to walk 20 minutes to the entrance. We will never book with Comfort Inn baysidel if we are in Boston again. Checked in at the terminal, long wait because Gem was not ready to receive the passengers even though embarkation began. Below are the following why we will never given Gem a third chance:
- Food was still bad. It was cold most of the time and morning coffee at Grand Pacific was not fresh. Services are non existence 80% of the time. Table was never set right and waitresses, and waiters looked angry all the time. Menu selections were bad too and the special nights at fine dinning do not include lobsters nor prawns or better steaks.
- Services at Guest Service, OMG. Three issues, they know everything, argumentative and poor oral communication. They have no people skill.
Most part okay. Though a bit tight because they put a small table inside the cabin but we managed somehow. Should follow Jewel setup and configuration.
Need to chase down some supplies.
