We left from Vancouver Canada on Air Canada Flight Dream liner Mar 29/2019. We travel by air getting to different destinations at least 3-4 weeks per year and have travelled world wide for over 20 years. Love A.C. D. L. but definitely not Rouge A.L. starting this holiday. This trip we are Seniors. We have been on over 6 cruises and different companies. We took Caribbean Princes Cruise lines Frt. Lauderdale, this time as wished to go to the Western Caribbean Islands, especially Grand Cayman Is. (Sting Ray Alley). I had researched Trip Advisor, Cruise Critic, and my travel agent and only this ship went this route. Embarking was efficient, with time given to us prior and help full assistant's beside line's. When we were asked to stand for the usual cruise picture I saw a blank wall, a tunnel of lights to the side but no usual ship picture that we were looking to board for our trip. This picture was doctored up to include a parrot and a star fish on the bottom and could have been to any world location. So I made sure we took pictures of the Caribbean Princess while tendering, anchored, and I have framed this ship. I thought this unusual not to have a ships picture as a back ground with us as usual. Could of been a sunset, tropical, trip scene, ship at night as we have got while traveling(Tahiti, Polynesia, Hawaii) other countries.

We have friends, travel agents, neighbors who recommended Princess Lines to us and so booked this ship do to route port stops. First port Grand Cayman we had booked tour Stingray Encounter, Reef, Snorkel & Scenic Cruise. Worth the money/time, experience (read T.A. review) and book through Caribbean Princess ship. Next port Roatan Is. Hondurous Country. Tour Jolly Roger Catamaran Coastal Sail, Snorkel & lunch. Was one hour late as other tour ship was tied up but they did compensate but long pm in high humidity. Should be more crew on this ship, as no one helping us take off flippers or hand them up or assist us up ladder, no one at bar at times and could be more choice of salads and lunch. Saying that we helped our selves and enjoyed the rum punch. They have two ski doo's for any persons emergency back to the ship. Crew members in the water in kayaks watching and snorkel leader in water on reef. Reef is getting broken, tired, broken fan coral but saw a small amount of tropical fish, eel but not much color. Next port Belize Country previously done tours, ships good. Magill Is. Cozumel there were 7 boats either anchored, docked which made it crazy busy on the dock and in town. Been there three times before but tourist are not told you are approx. 6 miles from the town so need transportation by taxi, horse carriage, bike or scooters. They want your cruise room and ship, credit card, enough cash ect for security, damages or loss. Check your scooter ect out before using them as they will charge you for anything they think was not on the vehicle. It takes 1hr 30 min if not stopping much around the island and a nice interesting paved road trip. We are Seniors and did it with stops and safe road but be aware who sells you things and where you stop. Be very care full of your speed as it will cost you lots if over! Fast debarking and embarking with Princess key fob, great!

Service on board- Above average in all area's, but onboard could have more crew attendants at elevators as a few very lost elderly people. Customer service attendants counter quite busy at times but they were excellent. We were on deck 11, stateroom B709 deck, a very excellent location for views, sunsets/rises, restaurants and adult pools and much more convinces. Deck 11 is under the life boats but private, quiet, best area and near elevators which we appreciated.

Great deck level, room location. Clean and large enough, bed mattress comfortable with a little discomfort in the middle as two pushed together. Bathroom door lock missing two screws and loose. Sink water had difficulty draining but was fixed soon after call.. T.V. is sticking out from counter too far and into walking space to deck. We hit our head and should be mounted on wall or moved at a safe angle. Bob was our steward and excellent.
