Service was good and ship was adequately staffed. Food was at best mediocre. Up scale dinning options were very disappointing and not worth the money. We asked around and found one fellow who claimed the Crown Grill was as good of a Steak House and Ruth's Chris Steak House and it was more like Golden Coral or Ponderosa. Sabatini's was a real disappointment as well, you only get to pick your entree while all the other offering are "pushed" at you. Style of dinning was not enjoyable. Food all tasted the same as though there was was one seasoning they predominantly used in all dishes. We love spicy flavorful foods and in-particularly love good Italian but this was not it. RCCL's Italian offering beat PCL hands down. Rooms were just like every other boat I have been on; no complaint. Ship is not particularly kid friendly in that the pool for the little kids is far removed from the pool for the 8 yr old type kids, thus either the little ones had to sit by and watch the older ones "swim" or the older ones had to sit back and watch the little ones "splash". Princess used to have a reputation for being a step above RCCL or Carnival but alas the economy must be forcing them to cut corners in most areas except staffing. As stated earlier the boat was well staffed and the service was good with one exception; see below.

There is a seafood wine bar on the 5th deck that opens at 4pm and offers sushi and assorted cheeses. Nice place. However, there is but ONE food preparer and he was the slowest most deliberate person I have ever seen in action. In this case the word "action" is a oxymoron. He was so slow and deliberate that you would have though he was handling nitroglycerin. I was 5th in line and it took me an hour to get a plate of sushi and a plate of cheese for a table of three!!!! He had no eye contact with customers, no verbal interface, nothing!!!! By the time I got our "little $58.00 snack" I was ready to jump over the counter and strangle him. They had one helper who stated she was not "classified to touch food" and she spent all her time apologizing for the debacle. Last but not least, 2 of our party of 8 got off the boat with severe case of diarrhea that is still haunting us in the worst way 6 days later. Both of us had to go to the doctor in an attempt to get cured lest we vanish from the face of the earth.

Closet area was immediately adjacent to bathroom and this was a cluster $#%&)%@ when one was getting cloths from closet and another was going into our out of the bathroom and there was so little room. If you weren't cautious you would get bonked by the bathroom door.
