this cruise left from Boston MA which meant no flying, just a drive to the dock and the added advantage of 6 at sea days which are my favorites.
it took a couple of days to get a feel for the ship and where things were in relationship to our cabin. but once we worked that out all was well.
the at sea days were filled with games and music and a small note in the schedule was a knitting and needlework informal gathering...we ended up being 25 or so knitters, tatters, chrochetters, cross stichers, and quilters. it was a very nice way to meet people.
the cabin was an ok size for two people, the beds were comfortable enough, and the bathroom was a good size with a walk in shower.
the cabin steward was ok but it seemed like he got distracted at times in that he left a few cleaning cloths in odd places and did not replace the tp after he took the old roll off. However he always remembered the ice in the ice bucket and our beds were always made up and the bath had fresh towels (which is more that I get at home, unless I do it myself)
