Cabin Review

Cabin Owner's Suite

Owners Suite - very spacious and beautifully decked out with massive balcony. Bedding was very comfortable and you can order from pillow menu. Bathroom well equipped - spa bath and seperate shower and double basins plus powder room for guests. Tea and coffee facilities replenished daily. The main sofa needed a good wet vacuum clean as it was full of dust inside the cushions. Slap your hands down on the cushions and the amount of dust rising up was shocking. On arrival no fruit platter or champagne - food left in fridge from previous guest. Cabin boy organised fruit platter later the evening, but was too late. Days later the Supervisor in charge of cabins knocked at our door to check all was ok. Explained we had received no champagne on arrival in our suite (you would think this would be the norm for a 12,000 cabin). He was apologetic and asked what champagne was i expecting which i replied Chandon (which is what RC advertise on their website). He said let me fix that and 10 minutes later sent the cabin boy in with a cheap $10 bottle of champagne purely to shut me up. If you can't do it properly then don't do it at all - was insulted and gave the bottle away to another cabin.
