Day we went thru Dusky, Doubtful, and Milford Sounds

We chose this cruise for its itenenary, and the duration and of course the ship, we loved everything about the cruise, all the staff on board were excellent everywhere we went we encountered helpful, happy staff which added to our enjoyment, the stand out staff for us were Edward, Arief, Rakesh, and Monwa in the Main dinning room were very efficient especially Rakesh who was excellent in finding the drinks my husband wanted at dinner time. All the specialty restaurants were great too except when we got the boniest fish Ever served to us in any restaurant ever was in Silk Harvest which was not enjoyable at all and when we brought it to their attention we got told “oh that’s how they serve it the Asian style” I know for sure no one would serve that kind of fish no matter what style.

Elton our room person on deck 10 Concierge stateroom was so efficient in keeping our room fully stocked with toiletries and towels twice a day, the girls in Cafe Bacio gave us excellent service too with lovely smiles, we also received excellent service from Errol in the Gift Shop which kept us all coming back to shop. The shows are night were very enjoyable.

The cruise director Lewis made sure everyone had something to choose to do everyday, our group of friends had a great time on this cruise. We enjoyed it so much we did a future cruise booking too.

Port Reviews

Had a lovely day in this port, we had to tender here, the weather was perfect, we just walked around the shore along all the little shops and tried a very tasty Lamb Pie at the butchers, and there was also a market we walked thru and bought some soveniers, beautiful place to visit and bought some Marino Wool items to bring home.

Very easy Port to get around from we got the Miki card for the tram at the port @$15.00aud and caught the tram into the city and could use the card all day, going wherever you wanted to in Melbourne and then back to port all for $15.00 excellent value.

Sydney (Australia)

Disembarked our cruise and stayed 3 nights in Sydney at the MERCURE Sydney which is a very central hotel with excellent breakfast and great staff, if you’re staying in Sydney get an Opal card for public transport, the card is free to get but must load on $10 min for travel around Sydney, the fare is capped at $15.00 on Saturday and $2.75 on Sunday, excellent value, if you need more information on travel around Sydney go and see Mark or Jude in the information centre in the Central train station lots of good advice and very knowledgeable about Sydney.
