An excellent cruise. Wonderful crew and great friendly staff. Ship layout was good and the lifts were fast and regular. Shopping was fun and there were many bargains on board.

Duty free shopping at the Yellow shop in Vanuatu was unbelievable.

Food was great except for main dining room (level 4) where I found it wanting, Steaks were over cooked even when replaced and the Roast Lamb on the last night was as tough as old shoe leather.Service in the main dining room however, was good.

Windjammer was one of the best on-board buffets I have seen. Food was varied and excellent quality, stewards and wait staff were a happy bunch and service was great .

Visiting Noumea on a Sunday is a waste of time. Almost everything is shut in the city.

Entertainment and shows on board were first class. The Freddie Mercury shows were great . Steven Larkins earned every second of three standing ovations. Belinda Marks was also great entertainment. The on-board dancers were exceptional.

Embarkation and disembarkation was very efficient as was the tendering process at a number of ports.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Balcony
Cabin 2D 8620

Well appointed cabin with plenty of storage and hanging space. Mattress could do with a revamp as springs are getting tired. Cabin steward Elmer was very helpful and conscientious.

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

Noumea

Sunday in Noumea is not good as most places are closed..

Isle of Pines (New Caledonia)

Spent the day on the beach swimming and snorkelling. Wonderful. Locals were friendly and very courteous.

Port Vila

Made our own arrangements here and had a great day touring the Islands iconic hot spots.

Blue Lagoon etc
