This was our first time on Celebrity Summit. We had been on Carnival and Royal Caribbean previously. Four of us shared a Celebrity Suite room 6104 . This was our second time getting a suite and once you do it, it is hard to go back to a regular room.
From the moment we got on the ship, we were treated royally. We got priority embarkation and were escorted through the process then up to the Retreat Lounge(for suite guests). They had small bites and an assortment of beverages. When are room was ready, they escorted us up to it.
We went to several of the shows, a magician, comic and Paul McCartney live - tribute band. They were all really good. We also went to a movie on deck one night which was fun.
Cabin Review
Celebrity Suite
The room was beautiful. It was listed as for up to 4 people. It was a little small for the 4 of us. Two of us slept in one room and the other two in a roll out couch in the living room. The couch is actually only full size. They brought in a cot. This had to stay in the room and folded up every morning which was a little unsightly. The bathroom is in the bedroom so it made the people sleeping in the living room have to come in and out. It had a table for 4, a desk, a couch and a chair. There was a fridge, safe and when we arrived a bottle of champagne on ice.
The room service (Heffi) was perfect. Our room was well attended. Our butler was Carlos and he was very nice and as helpful as possible but it seemed he was spread a little thin. Luckily we didn't have any big difficulties.
Port Reviews
San Juan
We stayed in the Condado Plaza. It had some hurricane damage still but hotel was beautiful and it had a million dollar ocean view.
St. Thomas
We only went in to do shopping right off the gangway. Still some shops not opened due to the hurricane.
St. Kitts (Port Zante)
Went to the Carambola beach resort. Very nice. Had a reservation. Ate at their restaurant. It was nice. Beach is beautiful.
St. Lucia
Spent beautiful day at the Rendevezous Resort.
Barbados
Got a taxi and went to Harbor LIghts beach
