This was our first cruise and we were not disappointed. Embarcation was very efficient although a bit slow having so many people to check in but once on board, our holiday truly began. We made our way to O’Sheehans which we were told wouldn’t be as busy as the buffet restaurants and had a lovely lunch. Our suitcases were taken from us when we got off the bus and they reached our cabin before 2pm. We were on deck 10 room 10074 mid ship with a balcony (our own bit of private heaven). The stateroom was lovely and more spacious than I thought it would be, very well appointed and very quiet. Our steward Sagar introduced himself and he was a lovely person, nothing was too much trouble and of course we had a different towel animal each night. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Entertainment was good at times and not to our taste at other times. For example, the violinist in the main theatre was a little bit boring and we left half way through but there was always something going on in diffierent venues throughout the ship. The Elements show is not to be missed and was spectacular, this takes place on the second last night on board. We didn’t go to the white party so can’t comment on that. Eating, we didn’t get to experience any of the A la carte restaurants as they were fully booked but we went to all the complimentary restaurants and had absolutely no complaints about the food or the service. The ship is spotless and is endlessly being cleaned, especially the eating places. We had about 3.5 days at sea and we found a sun lounger and relaxed on those days but they were quite tightly packed together. Disembarking day went pretty smoothly. We had a Miami City Tour and shopping at aventura mall excursion booked to keep us occupied before our 5pm flight home, I would probably just do the city tour only if was doing it again as all we did at the mall was have lunch which we could have got at the airport and for the extra cost it wasn’t worth it. Overall, we had a brilliant first cruise and since coming home, I’m looking for our next one.

Mid-Ship Balcony

Excellent, very quiet and well appointed, everything you could possibly want. Having a balcony was, for us, a must this was our own private space with some great views of each island we visited.
