We chose this cruise because of timing as we wanted to cruise in April. We were a little worried about cruising with Holland American because of their reputation of being geared toward a much older crowd then we were used to. Yes the average age was much older, but don't let that deter you as the cruise was excellent.

Accommodation:

We had a balcony room on the 10th deck. The room was about average as far as size and comfort goes. However, the room stewards were the best we have ever had. Our every need was met instantly and with a smile no matter what time of day. Our room location was perfect as it was above the lido deck so all that noise was below us and the crows nest was right outside our room.
