We have sailed mostly with RCL previously and was looking forward to sailing with a different cruise liner. This was our first time sailing with MSC.

Embarkation process was alright. We embarked from Salvador (Cruise started in Santos, Brazil a couple of days before we embarked) and therefore they only had 2 staff at the check in desk which probably took longer than it should have.

As soon as we got on the ship, my first impression was what a stunning ship! There is a lot of mirrors which makes the ship look even bigger. It looks very extravagant. It has a water slide, jungle pool, pools, jacuzzis, zipline, bowling alley, arcade, library, theatre, cinema etc.

Cabin is magnificent. No complaints! See above.

Port Reviews

Tenerife

This is the second time we’ve been in Tenerife. We went to the Palmetum this time. Entrance is quite cheap and the views are spectacular from the top. Not much to do really.

Malaga

This port surprised me. Really lovely walk along the cruise port, went to Gibralfaro. Stunning view of Malaga from the top. However, there were a lot of ladybirds!!! If you don’t like insects, don’t go up to the very top as there’s a lot of them! But other than that, I would go back to Malaga and explore More of the city. This stop is surprisingly clean considering there’s a lot of tourists!
