Sail Date: Aug 2017

This was recommended by our travel agent because of Viking's reputation and the itinerary which included St Petersbourg and Norwegian Fjords with desirable "included" tours at each port. There were many choices of optional tours as well, such as the Gold Room at the Hermitage and the Russian Folk Music & Dance. Local tour guides were knowledgeable and we covered a lot of ground without feeling rushed. Tours were well organized and audio communication devices facilitated hearing our individual guide. There were ample options for specialty dining included in our room category, and world cafeteria and other eateries provided great value and variety. Complimentary room service was an occassionsl treat. All staff were friendly and courteous and made the effort to get to know guests personally. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed our balcony as we sailed into each new Port. Only one day was cancelled because of weather as we approached Gdansk, but otherwise we enjoyed being outdoors in comfortable temperatures.

Cabin Review

Cabin Penthouse Veranda

Cabin was spacious and very comfortable with easy access to a private veranda. We had great views from both veranda and from inside. Video recordings of specialty presentations, port orientation, and broadcast television were available in the room. Wifi performance was very good most of the time. Staff were very attentive and responded to any requests.
