I give the Celebrity Reflection a 98% positive report. It was refurbished 2018 and now looks like brand new. They did a great job. We do not do the dining rooms any more, just the buffets. Ramesh, the head chef, was awesome. Anything you wanted he will take care of. He always asked if everything is good. No it was not good, everything was fantastic. The food on the buffet was excellent each and every day. Choices were abound. Everything we ate was delicious. (Take notice Celebrity Edge. There the food was never any good) On the Reflection, Tables were kept clean of dirty dishes FAST! Sometimes just eating the last item on the plate and they were right there taking it away. The ice cream was excellent. So many different flavors each day. Spotless, always cleaning any mess right away. Those that clean the tables were so wonderful and nice. Always a nice smile and a little conversation. Only one looked like she did not like her job, our room steward was one of them, did as little as she could. One bar server for the buffet was Muhammad, you would think he was doing this for years. He was the “new guy”. Started in February. He was awesome. Right on the ball. A great smile and a great person. So comfortable with his job and always made us feel welcome. What more could you ask for. He was wonderful. Another person was a bartender at the Passport Bar, Sreejith. I like a drink made a specific way. 5 different items with a specific amount of each. After making it once. No need to tell him how the next time. What a wonderful person, a smile always and very friendly. All three of these people are excellent assets to the Celebrity cruise line. They all deserve to be recognized by Celebrity for the great jobs they are doing that reflect the cruise line. Now for the entertainment. This was an 11 day cruise. Every show was excellent accept one. There were three women to do Motown and they destroyed every song by doing it their way and screaming not singing. Ballads were screaming and jazzed way up. Half the time you could not even recognize the song. The live band was fantastic, the Celebrity singers and dancers were excellent to say the least. They had one production called MAXX. Had no idea what that would be. It was awesome and we enjoyed it from beginning to end. The energy put into these productions is amazing. Choreography was excellent. Timing was suburb. The lead woman vocal had a voice that was unbelievable. She sang some Broadway songs and was superb. The very last day were 3 men doing Motown, called themselves HORIZON and THEY WERE fantastic. Energetic, funny, excellent voices and songs. Got the audience up, singing and dancing right at the seats. Most of the crew was very nice. I do not want to get into that. We had state room 3174 and it was in an excellent location. Ocean view. Only two major complaints about the room. No shelves, none and only three drawers. Check out the picture. They could have easily made six drawers instead of only three deep drawers. You have no need for deep drawers. On the right side of the desk table they could have easily put shelving. We put things on the window sill and on the desk. Tiny desk. But if they had shelves next to it you could have put the books on it instead of the window sill to make some room to read the daily items. The “head” (Bath room) was very nice. The shower was excellent. Water got hot for the shower almost instantly. Large and comfortable to shower in. No plastic drape “to stick to you”. I totally recommend this ship for a comfortable and excellent cruise to enjoy. So bon voyage! Enjoy, Happy Cruising!
Already gave that as a very nice new cabin with some problems. Mainly storage for your belongings. However. The safe was super big. NICE!
The proper way to say this island is Cura-sow A ver long walk. 20-30 min. to town. But worth it.
