Sail Date: Dec 2018
Cabin: Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom

We sailed on the Oosterdam in December 2018 for 7 days. This was the quietest trip we have ever been on. We aren't looking for a huge party, but a little activity around the pool would be good. It was about as exciting as being at a funeral home. The food was only ok, the entertainment in the theater wasn't great. The best part of the trip was going to B.B. King's and watching the All Stars play. They were great!

The ship itself is old and looks a little dated. The ceilings in almost all the hallways are low, which makes it look dark. The pool area is well organized and well layed out, there just isn't much going on around there. The specialty steak restaurant was fairly good. The food in the main dining room was very average. I would only recommend going on a Holland cruise if you are looking for absolute peace and quiet.
