Glamorous new ship with a lot of great new features. We did a back-to-back starting March 24th in Aqua Class and Suite Class for March 31st sailing, which provided a good way to see all of the aspects of the vessel. Lack of seating in the Martini Bar area and lack of shade on the Rooftop Garden and Rooftop Bar which could be easily remedied. The Captain and his officers were awesome!! The specialty dining was worth trying and would recommend Fine Cut and Raw on 5 for multiple visits. Our own restaurants, Blu the first week, was amazing as always. Great fresh meals with lots of options, but no view. Our second week in Luminae was up on the 12th deck and the sunset views were spectacular. The restaurant itself is very contemporary and the food was always cooked to perfection. Don't forget to see the shows or to dance the night away at silent disco. We particularly enjoyed the entertainers in the Grand Foyer (Martini Bar area), but as mentioned earlier seating was a bit of a challenge. The Edge is worth your time. It is pricey but our thought on this back-to-back adventure was that the entertainment was a step-up from other cruises and the food and service was also improved.
Nicely appointed room with great space to store things in the drawers and closet. Our attendant also provided us with a few extra hangers and our luggage all fit in the bottom of the closet. The balcony was nice to go out an sit and watch what was going on in port or just to watch the ship sail through the night (or early morning). We also enjoyed the location because we were just below the navigation deck so we could see the Captain watching us come into port. That could be a negative for some, but for us it was fun and we geek out on that kind of stuff. The only negative we have for this room specifically was that there was no coffee table so if you were to sit on the sofa to watch TV or relax with a book and a drink, you had to put the glass on the floor.
