We were first time cruisers and picked NCL for the freestyle cruise option and free drink package. We should have done more research! The boat is very clean and most staff was very pleasant and helpful but are overworked. The kids program was terrible and more like a poor daycare with not much going on. Our kids hated it! Pools were small and if you weren’t up on the deck by 6 am you wouldn’t get a seat! Never saw the cruise director, not much really going on. If you are prone to motion sickness this is not your ship! It moves and rocks a lot! Customer service was terrible and did nothing to help anything.

The stops were poor as in St. Thomas you barely had three hours. The stop at NCL’s own island was the worst. The tender process was not explained and was grossly unorganized and took forever. We didn’t get to the island until after noon after we spent three hours waiting inside the theater for the tender boat. When we did get there no chairs or shade were available and the lines for food and drinks were over an hour long. This is NCL’s island you would think they have a better handle on this. Customer service did not care to hear any complaints or do anything. Disembarking on the last day was also Completely a mess. None of the staff knew what was going on and no communication with guests was given. Staff were rude and flat out ignored questions asked directly to them. We will most likely never do a cruise with NCL again. Seems like the other cruise lines offer much more. We were very disappointed in this vacation which was also our honeymoon. Please do a lot of research before choosing this cruise line and ship.
