We chose this ship for location and departure date. Luckily we had 4 stops so that made the ship more bearable. You can only go down the slides so many times. The kids club was ok. The best food was all of Guy's stops. The Pig and Anchor was not open every day and for lunch only. The pizza and deli would be lifesavers when burgers and tacos were closed. Amber Cove was a nice stop with the pool as we disembarked. We have visited San Juan numerous times so we like to go and visit the cat shelter there near the fort. Grand Turk was another reason for this ship and it was a huge disappointment. We did a beach excursion and a huge waste of money. The service was incredibly slow, I went to find my own beach umbrella. The food included in the buffet was terrible. There is a nice pool/beach area as soon as you get off the ship (free). St. Thomas was a nice visit as well. This cruise served the purpose of date/itinerary. Carnival is our least favorite cruise line - we love Disney and Royal Caribbean.

Cabin Review

Spa Balcony

Cabin 8S

Cabin was fine, it was your typical small room. The balcony was a nightmare, we were on the 12th deck we would always get a notice about cleaning. We would hear water running above from cleaning in the middle of the night and the balcony would always be wet and dirty.

Port Reviews

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

Loved the free pool and to walk around.

St. Thomas

Walked around a while, had lunch and drinks.
