Sail Date: Apr 2019

I choose this sailing just for a quick getaway with my hubby. This was my second time on this ship and the first for my husband. We were very surprised with the new terminal in Ft. Lauderdale very very nice and modern. The lunch options were good you have your pizza station, grill station in the back for meats, pasta station, other options and then salad. We decided not to go to the main dining room for dinner since it was such a short cruise and we just wanted to relax and not have to worry about getting all dressed up by a certain time and be rushed. The dinner wasn't the best in the buffet. The options were very limited and on some things I was a little disappointed but not a big deal. I guess I was okay with salads chicken and pizza. Of course in the main dining you have better options. The cakes on display were absolutely beautiful in the buffet. Unfortunately those were on display only. They do have a no sugar added section for deserts and you have several options which were not bad. I was very disappointed with the coffee shop because the deserts were always complimentary regardless if you need to purchase a drink or not. I was on this ship in November and it was free and now it's not. The breakfast at the Trellis was really good. The breakfast in the buffet was the usual stuff and as always the omelet station was super packed. We were very pleased with our inside cabin. Normally it would a real tiny cabin where we would easily run out of space but this cabin was really big and we got a corner cabin so it was even bigger. We loved it. Housekeeping was great they always do a great job, however my pillows did have boot marks on them and I couldn't find the attendant so we had to wait for the next day to get that changed. Also there was a very horrible smell throughout the lower decks of the ship which is always tough to breath that in. We loved our time in the solarium it's just so relaxing in there and that pool was so great. Loved that not too many people went in at night. The comedian was great we got to see him twice and he was great, original and kept it real the whole time. Love the fact that the casino is smoke free verses other cruise lines. This ship is not for bigger kids or teens. The camp on board is really for babies. The only thing that teens and bigger kids can do is play basketball and go in the pool. The camp that they do have for the older kids is extremely tiny so the kids actually don't even want to bother going there. The arcade is a joke. There's about 4 games that are from the 70's. This ship does not cater to kids it definitely caters to a much older crowd. All in all it was a great experience. I look forward to going back on with Celebrity on the OTHER ships and won't go back on the Infinity unless it gets revamped like the Summit is.
