We have sailed on 5 Celebrity cruises, Equinox, Eclipse twice on Reflection and first time on Silhouette. We love Celebrity for the low key, kick back relaxing atmosphere. we are 55 and 62 years old. So not young and not ancient. Celebrity really does treat guest with respect. (except maybe Guest Relations, they need to work on this) We choose Celebrity mainly for the duration and ports. plus the bang for the buck is awesome with the perks they offer. Getting on the ship is amazing fast and well organized, we always fly the red eyes. And arrive at port around 10am and are checked in and on the boat by 11ish. Getting off this time was a breeze. with the face recognition they do we just walk out once we found out cases. Amazing.
This time we did an excursion on Grenada, Ultimate Sea, Sun and Fun Cruise . Well worth the money for sure. Snorkel at the underwater sculptor park and another area, then a wonderful lunch on Calypso Island, which is a rock formation with a restaurant at the top. It was amazing.
St Lucia we booked an outside vendor Ambrose tours to Joulise Beach. Would not recommend at all. Not worth the cost at all. Sugar Beach is amazing on the resort side of the dock, the Public side is a grimy rocky beach. But you are able to go over to the resort side for sand and swimming. Public side did have snorkeling area. Next time we will probably just taxi it to Rodney Bay or Pegeon Island.
I think Celebrity should think about removing Dominica from its Itinerary. We had stopped there on a previous trip and was not thrilled at stopping there again. I only got off the ship to walk through the vendors and back on again.
The Ship is looking a little old but I understand it will be going into drydock next January. Can't wait to see it, as we booked next years on Silhouette again.
We love Barbados and always just taxi over to Harbor Lights and have a good beach day.
St. Martin we loved in the past because we would go over to Orient bay, but after the hurricane we now just beach day it usualy outside Kokonuts which is closed now but still have access to Chairs and umbrella we negotiate price for that and bucket of beer.
We booked late so we were given a cabin on the 6th deck with the life boats. not great but it did ok for us.
On board Dinning was good. We tried Quisine Le Petit Chef for the first time. It was fun but would not do it again. Lawn Club Grill is amazing. did that one twice. Main Dinning room we actually only ate there twice. Not for any fault of theirs but because after a few buckets of beer on the beaches we just relaxed and ate at the Buffet. Which is nice and chill. Variety is good, something for every one.
Entertainment was alright. Not to impressed with the first production show cant even remember the name.. Second production Pearl was good. Some of the other shows did not interest us, did even bother going in. Not for us, but could be great for others.
Nice cabin, as usual on deck 6 slight obstruction with lifeboats. but pleasant enough, didn't hear much outside noice. enough space for the two of us.
Not worth the cost. Small public beach, kind of grundgy. Lunch was dry chicken leg with some rice, slaw, plantains and other sides. Old worn out loungers better get one while you can. gets filled up fast.View All undefined undefined Reviews

Love St Maarten, Can not wait for Orient Bay to get back on its feet. Spent the day on beach in town. Nice shopping area.
Was changed to St Thomas to my disapointment
Not much to say about this port. Just there to get on and off the ship
