The Norwegian Escape is a noisy, unstable ship. The ride of the ship was horrible. From the first minute we started off, I could feel way too much motion in the ship, much more so than any of the other Norwegian ships that I've been on. There was also too much wind noise from the partitions dividing the balconies. At 7 a.m.each morning, I could hear the morning news through the wall from the cabin next to me. The walls were flimsy. When we pulled into port, my entire cabin shook from the thrusters attempting to position the ship at the dock. The telephone on the table was actually bouncing up and down while the thrusters were on. It was like having a jackhammer in the cabin. The entertainment was average at best. Reservations were required for some of the performances, which I never had to make before. Some of the performances sold out too fast because the room capacities were small. For several other activities in the Atrium of the ship, there weren't enough seats. The life jacket drill was a complete mess. Such disorganization! Instead of spreading the crowds of people out, too many people were crowded into one area of the ship. It was hot and congested. The elevators were jammed packed during this drill, and it took me a half hour just to go down two flights. The casino on board was a disappointment. It was way too small for the size of the ship. The only good thing about this ship was the food and drinks. I will never go on this ship again! Stay away!
