Our cruise date was looming and we were going ready with trepidation, due to our last cruise with MSC being spoilt by both the illness of my wife and the rather bad service from the crew. Our cruise date came round the taxi collected us and down to the harbour we went, MSC ground staff took our luggage straight from the taxi and whisked us to the wheelchair assist station and what a difference we were on board and seated by the pool within twenty minutes, compared with the one and half hours on our last trip. Holiday started no problems for the duration of the cruise apart from trying to get a room-service menu for breakfast, we asked at least four times on the first day (Monday) and it arrived late on Tuesday evening ready for breakfast on Wednesday that said and off my chest we had a really fantastic time from start to finish. Talking of food every meal we had was of the highest standard and a varied menu to cater for all tastes. Disembarkment went as smooth as embarkation and we had to wait for our taxi to arrive which we booked late due to the epic four hour adventure of our earlier cruise where they had to reopen customs and immigration to get us back on sovereign soil. Bottom line we have booked our next years cruise and are looking forward to being on board again.
The cabin was great enough space and amenities for the time spent on board the cabin was clean and supplied with fresh linen, although a bit long winded with deliveries of towels being a two stage system where hand towels are replaced then two hours later the bath towels are replaced but it at least gave us plenty of time to speak to our cabin attendant and get to know him.
