My Wife and I took this cruise as part of a gambling promotion where Norweign gives away free rooms with the intent that we gamble. We were given free drink (in the casino) cards.. but I only was able to get one water in the ten days I was there.. Oh.. I did order another but no one came back.. Deplorable.. no service what so ever.. But that was gambling..

Food.. really the food is not no better than Carnival..so lower your expectations.

Restaurants. The Chinese place was horrid.. you get better and fresher food from a frozen tv diinner.. Really disappointing..My wife didnt even eat her, what was supposed to be, sweet/sour pork. French restaurant was great.. best meals on the boat..Although my wife was throwing up with cramps the next two days.. we think food poisioning...from the "smoked duck"... but it happens.. The "Italian" restaurant.. was no better than the "pasta bar" they had on the buffet line... All the boat did was rope off a section of the buffet area and "create" an Italian restaurant. Which reminds me I need to send the chef, if there really was one, a beginners book on Italian cooking. Don't waste your money. Finally Cagney's their premium steak house.. just ordinary.. I would equate it with a middle of the road fast food steak house (i.e. Long Horn)..
