Good cruise overall, but did not have the wow factor we were hoping for

I chose this cruise for two reasons. 1) we went on the escape 2 years ago for spring break and had an amazing experience. Great food, drinks, service was amazing and workers so friendly. 2) We chose the epic because we liked the itenerary to gsc, Jamaica, grand cayman and Cozumel and were hoping for a similar experience.

I want to start off saying it was not a terrible cruise. We had a great time still, but the overall vibe on the ship seemed to be dull and the workers did not seem happy. We even tried additional tipping and it was met with an expectation, not an appreciation, even though we were already tipping a mandatory 20%. The staff also seemed overworked and there were not enough bartenders to handle everyone and in the casino it was very difficult to get a drink.

Our balcony room was fine...small, but what was expected. The bathroom set up is strange, but it was fine. We were rarely in our room.

Family Balcony

Cabin B3

Small, but good location...close to buffet and pool. Bathrooms were ok, but you better know each other well because they lack privacy.
