The ship was in great shape, everything was clean, and all staff was super friendly as expected. The issue we had was the continuous confusion with nearly everything on board. I assume they had mostly new staff because we would ask multiple people questions and either nobody knew or we would get multiple answers. At every meal, the menu was a mix of lunch, dinner, or different days. We would have to ask which is correct. Nobody knew and it would take a manager to figure it out. I'm also not sure we had a single dinner that took less than 2 hours. The picture booth was a mess. Went to pick up pictures we had paid for. They said they delivered them. To a different cabin than ours.. Took over an hour to get it figured out. There was a line of people dealing with similar issues. The shore excursions were also a zoo. Late tour start times and early endings. Also, the time in ports was very short. Off the boat at 8:30-9AM and back on by 1:30-3PM depending on the stop. Other cruises we have done allowed for considerably more time in port. Combined with off timed excursions we did not have time to explore the ports. This was our 5th cruise and 1st with Norwegian. I don't think we will repeat. We have done several Carnival (known as the cheapest and lowest quality cruise line) and not had any of these issues. I would expect a more expensive cruise line to have better services and quality.
