Celebrity has become just another cruiseline

We booked this cruise because we preferred Celebrity cruises over all others and wanted to see what new on the edge. We booked our usual aft balcony cabin and were glad we did. The ships hype was the infinite balcony. We did a cabin crawl and walked away thinking its nothing more that a ocean view that the window opens.

The magic carpet was different but the staff are terrible , You cant get a drink there. We waited half an hour and they never came. No wonder we saw everyone there bring a drink from another bar.

The only quiet area is your cabin hopefully. Piped in music everywhere all the time

The shore excursions went up in price three times. as an example $79 to tour Bacardi

That's why they give you so much OBC. They change a premium for everything

Celebrity use to be the line one went on to avoid children but they are now actively seeking families with children. But there doesn't seem like a lot for kids to do. Celebrity should just build a water slide and get it over with. Be just like every other cruise line.

Eden was awkward. we tried it a few times its nice inside but these goofy Avant garde shows are not interesting to me. Never were never will be.

The singers were only on stage the first day and last of a seven day cruise. The rest was lectures and comedians. We use to prefer what Celebrity offered but no longer in the direction they are going.
