Dinner in the Manhattan Room

This was our 3rd time sailing on the Norwegian Escape! We live in New York, so leaving from Manhattan is a breeze! The embarkment went quick and smoothly. Our cabin was located on the 12th floor. We usually take an ocean front facing cabin. Not only does it have a huge window seat, it has extra storage. We began our trip by going to the Meet & Greet. It was in the District Brew House...one of my favorite bars on the ship. The waiters came around with appetizers and samples of craft beer. The officers mingled with us as we were entertained by a singer. The Escape has phenomenal shows and many dining options.we love eating in the Manhattan Room because it has entertainment during dinner. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable as always! This time we traveled with 2 other couples. Although we hit some rough seas, that didn’t stop us from havilng a blast on the ship. In Port Canaveral, we went on an excursion to Daytona Racetrack. It was really interesting! Not too much walking. Most was on a tram. We really enjoyed Great Stirrup Caye. The weather was great..the food was delicious, and the DJ had a Ms. Norwegian contest. Considering the number of people there..there was ample seating. Our 3rd port was Nassau. We spent the day at Breezes on a day pass. We ate three of our dinners in specialty restaurants. ( Cagneys, Modernos and Bistro.) once again...great food and impeccable service! I can’t wait to sail on her again!
