Sail Date: Mar 2019
Cabin: Havana Aft-View Extended Balcony

We just returned from our Spring Break cruise on the Horizon. We wanted to try a Vista Class ship. So far, we have taken 8 cruises with Horizon. Below are the Cheers and Jeers:

Cheers

Had a Havana Suite. The added balcony room is a treat. The room was very quiet.

Cabin Review

Havana Aft-View Extended Balcony

Cabin HI

Our cabin was very quiet. We did not hear other passengers in the hallway or hear doors shut. The extended balcony is worth the additional cost. The patio furniture is uncomfortable. We did not use the Havana pools.

Room was clean and comfortable.

Port Reviews

Grand Turk

It is a nice port for those who have not booked an excursion.

San Juan

You need to either stay on the ship or book an excursion at this port. There are no shops nearby like the other ports.

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

We took the airboat shuttle for $7. Be prepared to be approached constantly by people trying to sell their wares or an excursion. We flagged someone to take us to the passport office which was outside of the security gates. He wanted $5.We paid $20 because he drove us, waited, and then took us back.
