We loved our cruise on Enchantment of the Seas! We were so completely happy with everything and do not have a single complaint!! We are already thinking about our next possible cruise vacation.
It really felt like an excellent value for our family ... there were 9 of us including 4 children ages 10-17. We had 3 interior cabins on deck 2, slept 3 in each and were very happy with our accommodations! The rooms were clean and there was plenty of room to store/hang our clothes and to slide our empty suitcases under the beds. Two of us had cruised in the past on Royal Caribbean and had certain expectations ... we were incredibly pleased that they were met including the towel 'art' in our cabins on nights 2 & 3.
I had read many of the reviews on this forum (they made me so nervous!) and yes, the ship shows its age if you look critically, the windows are not sparkling clean, there were no ice sculptures, lobster and filet mignon are only offered for an additional charge in the main dining room, it doesn't have as many features as the bigger newer ships ... but none of those things affected our enjoyment in any way. We watched YouTube tours of the ship beforehand so we knew exactly what this ship did and didn't have ... we were originally thinking of going on the newer Mariner of the Seas (that looked amazing!) but that was more expensive and was going out of Miami. Since we already had our vacation dates planned and flights to Orlando booked we had limited cruise options that fit inside those dates. Next time we're going to pick the cruise first and plan our whole vacation around it rather than squeezing a cruise into our existing vacation. Enchantment was going out of Port Canaveral and the dates worked.
It was clean, cozy and we spent little time in our cabin so it was perfectly comfortable for 3 of us. One of the bunks was kept lowered but the unused one stayed closed in the ceiling. We didn't even use all the drawers or cabinets. The space really is tiny but we didn't care.
