We chose this cruise because it was a new ship and had heard good things about it from our travel consultant.

The ship is outstanding, including furnishings throughout, the staterooms, balconies that can be closed and become part of the stateroom, the staff are well trained and friendly, the artwork throughout the ship can leave you breathless. There are innovative areas, such as, the Rooftop Garden and the Magic Carpet, which moves up and down the side of the ship and can become a dining experience or a bar up on 15 near the pool. There is a great jogging track that circles around the ship and connects the 14th and 15th floors. Wonderful food is available in the 4 main dining where we had Select dining (anytime dining) with little or no wait to be seated, there are, also, some fine dining restaurants that are quite good. The entertainment was varied with comedians, great singing groups and the outstanding Edge singing, dancing and acrobatic performers. The day you get on the Edge take one of the 3 excursions around the ship to acclimate yourself with where everything is located. Last, but not least, the Captain has a wonderful sense of humor. If you see him, he will stop to take a photo with you.
