Really enjoy NCL cruises as they offer a great choice of ports, The other passengers were friendly and we enjoyed chatting over meals. I love the variety of cocktails included in the drinks package. The entertainment is 1st class especially in piano bars were Justin kept us entertained with singalongs - very talented guy. We enjoy relaxing listening to the music after dinner or after a show. The staff throughout the ship were professional and food in all the restaurants we ate at were excellent. The pool area had enough sun beds and was well maintained although during this cruise the pool wasn’t busy due to the weather being very changeable as it was autumn. The Gem is a smaller and older ship which suits us as the bigger ships aren’t as cosy. We enjoyed it so much we’ve already booked our next cruise, heading to South America in Feb 2020.
