My sister has been travelling with Princess for 25 years. She’s always encouraged us to join her and so we did this year (March 2019) and were very pleased with the experience. The Crown Princess is a beautiful ship, our cabin was kept spotless, the waiters and all dining staff were superior and the Entertainment was Broadway comparable. My husband never had an issue with his food allergies. We were a party of 10 and had no problem being seated together at anytime-dining dinners. The Antigua Catamaran excursion is well-worth it whether or not you snorkel. The rum punch on-board the Catamaran is complementary, there’s lots of shade or sun on-board and we visited a beautiful beach for optional swimming. My spouse and I stayed onboard during the snorkeling and enjoyed watching others in the water. It was our first Princess Cruise and we will definitely travel with them again.

Balcony

Cabin BD

Our stateroom cabin was just the right size. The balcony makes it feel much larger. Our stateroom steward, Andrew, kept our room spotless. He was excellent, always positive, smiling and helpful.

Port Reviews

St. Thomas

Wonderful shopping experience at the port and downtown. A must see. Best shopping port and remember to barter for even better deals.

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

The Lauderdale airport is terrible. For the thousands of travellers passing through, they have only one restaurant and a small variety store. The restaurant serves pizza and nachos and there are huge lineups to get in because THERE’S ONLY ONE RESTAURANT IN THE WHOLE AIRPORT!! There is not enough seating to accommodate all the people waiting to be allowed entry to the secure area. The city of Ft. Lauderdale should be ashamed.

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

We rented a taxi and toured the island ourselves. The price yo rent a taxi was reasonable.

Martinique

This was one of my least favourite ports. It needs a face-lift and a good scrubbing. The one public washroom at the peer was one of those self-cleaning huts that one sees in Europe but this one was broken, filthy and no toilet paper. Martinique obviously does not appreciate their tourism business.

Barbados

Beautiful island. We rented a taxi.

Grand Turk

Not much here. Very small island. Shopping st the peer is better than the shopping on the old downtown. I’d skip downtown next time.
