Once we got through the craziness of getting our bags taken by the porters and then checking in which didn't take long we were welcomed onboard. Cuba here we come.It doesn't take us long to see that the crew love their little ship.We had a oceanview room which was small but was understandable due to its age. Both the dining room and the windjammer served up good meals which we enjoyed. The nightly shows were good entertainment which we appreciate how much work and effort they put in.The arrival into Havana was very picturesque from both sides of the ship. All the colours of the convertible cars was something to see.We walked around the streets on day one and then we had a full day tour on day two.It was everything we imagined it to be.Full of smiling faces and colour and interesting buildings. Our night parisian cabaret show was well organised but very crowded. But well worth it to see the wonderful costumes and singers and dancers.Alas all things come to an end and we have to say goodbye to what was a lovely time on the 'empress'.

smaller ship with a proud crew
