Firstly ours was a last minute booking approx 10 days before sailing, We have cruised on 20 plus cruises on most cruise lines and have never been loyal to any one line. We had never been on a maiden voyage before and when we saw this much publicised launch advertised on MSC website at £249 pp for a 10 night maiden voyage in a balcony cabin, we felt we couldn't go far wrong for an extra £220 pp we upgraded to fantastica which gave us an excellent cabin location and also premium drinks package too. So that said for the price paid the cruise was ok, but compared to all others we have been on it was quite poor.

The ship itself being brand new was sparkly and very light and airy,

Dining was ok, quite good if you like seafood, with Squid, octopus and cuttlefish often appearing on the menu, the food was certainly more Mediterranean than other lines we have sailed previously,
