We went on an Eastern Carribean cruise on the Norvegian Epic. Had planned for 3 years to take a cruise. We left Port Canaveral on March 16th and returned on March 23rd a 7 day cruise. We were upgraded from a balcony to a large balcony. Needless to say, we ended up with a partially enclosed balcony, with a round hole for a window. The other couples we were with had a glass balcony, they had beautiful views, not us!! I went down to guest services and was told they could not do anything about it!! Bad start of the cruise! The service is terrible, as everybody on the ship has the free drink package, so in order to get your drinks, you stand in line at the bars to order, minimum of 2 drinks per person. Very seldom do you see any cocktail waitresses unless you are in a restaurant.

We went to a couple of shows, which were nice, although extra charges! The specialty dining was good, especially the Japanese restaurant.

Went on 1 excursion, snorkeling, in St Thomas. Had a great time and the crew on the catamaran were very nice! Did not get to stop at the Bahamas because the waters were too rough. Kind of a disappointment as our group was looking forward to that. All in all, I will never cruise with Norwegian again!
