We chose this cruise based on itinerary so basically when we were informed ONE week before that there was a port change we were quite upset. CocoCay was now to be replaced with Miami. We weren't interested in Miami! But there was not a thing to be done about it. The 'goodwill' gesture of a free shuttle to a mall or South Beach didn't quite make up for it. That all being said, the rest of the cruise was very positive. Our cabin was perfectly appointed for my husband, myself and 10 year old son. We had a forward balcony cabin. The entire ship is very clean, modern and well laid out. We had no issues navigating this ship even though it was so enormous! We dined in the MDR each evening. The first few nights were a little rough when it came to service but after we filled in a comment card with our concerns, the service became extraordinary! The food in the MDR was consistently delicious. The buffet was so nicely arranged that it never felt crowded and we always found a seat. We ate here often for breakfast or lunch. The choices were varied and delicious.
All the shows that we saw were of top caliber. I was completely impressed with the level of talent.
We only did one shore excursion through the ship to Kennedy Space Centre in Port Canaveral. It was a great day out!
Very clean, well laid out and modern. The bed was too hard but our stateroom attendant put a foam down which helped. I did miss having lotion provided and there wasn't any Kleenex either. Otherwise the room was perfect for us! We enjoyed the towel art several evenings during our cruise.
On and off the ship with speed and efficiency!
It poured rained. We went to a mall. Very sad.
We had a great time snorkeling even though it was a little on the cold side. The sun did come out in the afternoon which was fantastic!
