My wife and I are platinum level cruisers, needless to say we have stayed true to Princess. We decided to try the newest in the Princess fleet that is the Majestic Princess, unfortunately the experience was not what we expected. The atmosphere we experienced on previous cruises with Princess on obviously smaller ships (Golden princess, Diamond Princess, Sea Princess) was not there. On this occasion it was just as if Princess have focused on getting as much as possible from passengers, giving very little back...No more happy hour...Elite/Platinum special afternoon get together s were dismal to say the least. Overall a very average cruise experience definitely not up to Princess standard...Hopefully it will not be the standard for future cruises, because if not then a lot of regular Princess cruises will be looking at other cruise lines.

Ship:- A beautiful ship - clean and definitely Majestic

Cabin:- Balcony cabin M629 was great with all anyone could ask for..No noise with easy access to lifts - stairs - buffet area and the Wake Bar at the very rear of the ship.

GREAT CABIN AT REAR OF SHIP (PREFERRED)...EASY ACCESS TO LIFTS AND STAIRS - VERY COMFORTABLE BED - BATHROOM SMALL AND WOULD PRESENT A PROBLEM FOR A LARGER PERSON....GREAT VIEWS FROM BALCONY ALL YOU COULD WANT IN A BALCONY CABIN
