The ship is new and very impressive. Staterooms were bigger that SEA princess and SUN princess. Both my wife and I enjoy keeping fit whilst on board. I was appalled that to use the sauna I would have to pay $199. You can not purchase a day pass to use the sauna or steam room. The Majestic also had fewer fresh water dispenses than SEA and SUN. At breakfast you were not able to serve yourself orange juice. The food was not of the high standard that I had experienced on previous Princess Cruises. The ship was full and it appeared that staff were struggling to cope with demand. At dinner our waiter had too many tables to cater for and we often had to wait long periods for drink service. The destinations were excellent in particular Milford Sound and Tauranga. In summary I would not recommend the Majestic Princess.

Shopping was poor, similar products to Australia, however everything was more expensive.
