We chose this ship for the amazing features of the new ship. It seemed to be a perfect fit for our family of 13 (7 kids rangng from 4-14) The entertainment was outstanding, the ship was beautiful, the food was standard cruise fare, nothing outstanding, but decent enough for us to have a nice time. The alcohol was not as good as NCL that we have been on in the past, but better than an all inclusive.

We had 2 rooms with exterior balconies and 2 with interior balconies overlooking the Boardwalk. I would be very cautious about booking a room overlooking the Boardwalk, unless you plan to be up late and wake early. It was very loud and those of us staying in those rooms were not able to enjoy the balcony at all due to the noise constantly buzzing from the carousel or show rehearsals. Most of the time we even had to keep the drapes pulled because it was far less than private!

The drink packages were less than stellar. It was a complete pain in the butt to have to carry around a cup in order to get pop when you wanted it.

Cabin Review

Boardwalk View Balcony

Standard Cruise cabin, small, decent storage, bed was ok.

Port Reviews

Miami

We always book a couple extra days before the cruise in Miami. Travelling from the North, snowy conditions can make reliability of air travel sketchy anyway. But mostly, we LOVE Miami. Specifically Miami Beach. It is a beautiful area with amazing restaurants, architecture, art scene and culture. And Shopping! Everything is very expensive but it is worth it for a couple days!
