I wanted to try out the newly renovated ship. $113 M spent, looks like mostly for new water slides and pool decor. Air conditioning was not up to par, even crew was complaining about the heat. Several elevators not working for most of the cruise. Seats broken in the theater and ice rink. Bathrooms near Windjammer not working at first. Holes in tile wall.

Due to unrest in Venezuela, ship was unable to get some fresh fruit and vegetables. That was not a great deal, there was plenty to eat! Love the new Hooked restaurant. Chops was terrific, best filet i have ever eaten. Crew was friendly and attentive, food as usual was great. Shows were well done and contract entertainment was really good.

Embarkation was a mess, delays and misdirected. Staff at the port didn’t seem to know or care what they were doing. Priority check-in meant nothing since most of the ship was priority.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Balcony

Cabin 4D

They removed the small coffee table, which is an improvement. Otherwise, same cabin, new carpet.

Port Reviews

Miami

Stayed at Marriott Biscayne Bay. Very nice, close to port, on the water. Not many restaurants within walking distance. Can see the ship from the hotel.

Labadee

Walked around, enjoyed beach chairs in a lovely shady spot. Buffet lunch was good, burgers and chicken, salads, desserts. Entertainment during lunch and plenty of places to sit. Beaches are beautiful, lots of activities to do, zip line, roller coaster, kiddie areas. Shopping and local handicrafts.
